Ryan Pickett came to the Green Bay Packers by way of the St. Louis Rams. He spent eight years in the NFL before coming to Lambeau Field.

He played his college football at Ohio State, and was drafted by St. Louis in 2001. He played as a reserve in his first season.

In 2002, Pickett started 14 games, and shined brightly at his position as defensive tackle. He was moved to nose tackle in 2003, and still had a strong year.

Picket continued to do well as nose tackle in 2004. He started in every game, had over 80 tackles, and led the team on a number of occasions. His performance in 2005, was the best of his career. The Green Bay Packers had interest in this now free agent, and picked him up for 2006.

He picked up right where he left off, and had over 90 tackes as a Green Bay Packer. He managed to play through an ankle injury during the Philadelphia game.

After 74 starts, he had to sit out the final two regular season games, but made his way badck into the playoff picture. He had six tackles in the playoff game against Seattle.

Ryan Pickett started every game in 2008, and managed over 80 tackles at his new position. The hamstring injury he suffered just before training camp started. That didn't stop him from playing in game one of the regular season.
