Jeremy Thompson was part of the 2008 draft, and came from Wake Forest. He played in nine games as a Green Bay Packer in his rookie season.

He had 13 tackles in 2008, and five of those tackles were in one single game against Indianapolis. He was inactive for a number of games with an injury. The Green Bay Packers hope to move him over to a linebacker position in the coming seasons.
