More Info
Jeremy Kapinos was born on August 23, 1984 in West Point New York. Kapinos’ early years were spent on the east coast where he was named All-Met at West Springfield Highschool and coached by former Green Bay Packer punter Bill Renner. Kapinos college career was also spent on the east coast as the Nittany Lion’s leader in punting yardage.

Kapinos professional career started in 2007 for him as a free agent with the New York Jets but was unfortunately let go during the preseason in August. Later that year, he was put back on the Jet’s practice squad and then promoted to their active roster when Coles got injured.

December 3, 2008 Kapinos signed a two-year deal as a punter with the Green Bay Packers to replace Derrick Frost and is currently on the active roster.

December 3, 2008 Kapinos signed a two-year deal as a punter with the Green Bay Packers to replace Derrick Frost and played the final four games of the season. He put out a 39.2 yard average on 17 punts, seven of which were inside the 20. We look forward to seeing more of him during the 2009 season.
