Jake Allen is a first year player coming from Mississippi College. He signed as a non-drafted free agent. Packer fans hope that this bright spot from Mississippi College will work his magic in Green Bay.

He holds the record for receptions and receiving yards. In one season, he caught 61 passes. He won letters in three years, and received All American Honors from D3 Football. This ASC offensive player of the year has the numbers and the stats, but will have to prove himself in the NFL.

By the end of the 2009 preseason, the Green Bay Packers moved Jake Allen to the practice squad.
