More Info
Greg Jennings was signed to the Packers in July of 2006 with a four year contract and has played for the team exclusively during his professional career. He played in 14 games during his first season with 11 starts. He showed much improvement early in the season until suffering an ankle injury in week seven. Jennings was also elected onto the prestigious Pro Football Weekly/Pro Football Writers Association All-Rookie Team.

Jennings went to Kalamazoo Central High School and was all conference in football, track and basketball. He was a three-time letterman in high school for football, playing various positions. As one of the top players in the state he received the honor of being placed 11th in the Fab 50 by the Detroit Free Press for his achievements in football his senior year. Jennings went on to play in college at Western Michigan University. Though he was red-shirted his freshman year, playing only eight games that season, he went on to be a great player for the team and impressed many. He gained 5,093 yards during his college career which is a WMU record. Jennings is also only the 11th player to gain over 1,000 yards three times in their college career.

Now coming into his fourth season, Jennings has become a top player for the Packers and is a valuable pro, capable of making explosive plays. His 24 career receiving touchdowns are the most by a player over that timeframe and he has also caught a pass in every game he has ever played professionally. Jennings has started in 39 out of the 43 games he has played and is only the sixth wideout in Packer history to catch 80 passes in one season.

During his 2008 season, he played in all 16 games, starting an impressive 15 of them. His accomplishments were great as he led the team with a career-high 80 receptions and 1,292 yards. He was named a first alternate player for the Pro Bowl and was even ranked seventh in the NFC in catches and sixth in NFL for receiving yardage. At the home opener Minnesota game, he had five receptions for 91 yards and a 56-yard grab to set up for the first touchdown of the game. His success continued at Detroit when he posted two receptions of over 60 yards in one game. His season went out with a bang as he caught five passes for just over 100 yards and teamed up with Donald Driver to each post 100 receiving yards, the first tandem to do so since 2007.
