Quarterback Brian Brohm decided to stay one more year at Louisville, rather than enter the draft in 2007. This came about despite the fact that scouts had predicted him to go in the first ten spots of the draft. Brohm brought his Cardinals to victory in the 2007 Orange Bowl. Surprisingly, Brohm didn’t get picked until the second round of the 2008 draft by the Green Bay Packers. He is currently a third string quarterback for the Packers. Fans hope that his career will not be similar to his first NFL pre-season pass. That was an interception.

In 2008, he remained inactive during all 16 games as the third string quarterback. During the preseason, he completed 19 out of 42 passes for 155 yards but did not throw any touchdown passes during that time.

During the 2009 preseason games, Brohm failed to impress the coaching staff at Green Bay. By week four of the Packers pre season, Brohm was released.
