More Info
B.J Raji is the Green Bay Packer's newest defensive tackle. He is the first round pick this season, and the Greenbay Packers expect great results from him. Raji is coming back after sitting out in his previous 2007 season due to academic reasons. Previously, he was matched up with Ron Brace and they were the most feared defensive tackle pair in College Football.

In Raji’s High school years at Westwood, he earned All-State, All-North Jersey and All-County honors. Playing for head coach Joe Gambardella, Raji started three of his four years and played the offensive and defensive lines recording 75 tackles in 2003; 7.5 of those being sacks, and four forced fumbles. One of his greatest honors was being asked to play in the 2004 Govenor’s Bowl.

After his junior season in 2006 he received All-ACC second team honors. One of his highlights was having 37 solos and 63 total tackles. Later, playing for the Eagles he was able to start 38 of the total 40 games as a freshman. Unfortunately, because he had not fulfilled all of his academic requirements, he wasn’t able to play the next season. The anticipation of his return continued to be heightened throughout the 2008 season where he completed 42 tackles, 16 for loss and eight for sacks.

Even more notably Raji made top-10 player in the week of practice at the Senior Bowl. It can be said that Raji’s performances have proved to make him the most dominant defensive lineman in the country.
