Arliss Beach was signed by the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted rookie free agent in May 2006. He experienced an ankle injury during the preseason that kept him out of action for the entire 2006 season. What Green Bay coaches have seen of Beach has left them impressed, however, and he will compete with fellow running backs Noah Herron, P.J. Pope, Vernand Morency, and Deshawn Wynn for playing time during 2007 training camp.

Beach attended college and the University of Kentucky. He lettered four years while there and proved himself a threat to both run and catch passes out of the backfield. Though Beach’s collegiate stats are modest, his time at Kentucky was marked by a turnover in coaching staffs and offensive approaches.

Arliss Beach is a resident of Ashland, Kentucky, where he attended Paul Blazer High School. He was the only player in Kentucky to have earned All-State honors in both football and basketball his senior year.
