Alvin Nnabuife was signed by the Green Bay Packers as a free agent in 2006. He saw no action with the team in 2006, and is currently playing in NFL Europe with the Cologne Centurions. A linebacker and strong safety in college, Nnabuife will be competing with Marview Underwood, Marquand Manuel, and Aaron Rouse for playing time.

Nnabuife attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, where he distinguished himself as a defensive force. Seeing considerable action as a freshman, he moved into a starting role his sophomore year and earned honorable mention All-Conference honors his junior year. He was also named the team’s Defensive Most Valuable Player his junior year. While at SMU, Nnabuife majored in psychology.

Nnabuife’s hometown is Missouri City, Texas.

Nnabuife has no stats for 2006 as a Packer. He was released, then picked up by the Oakland Raiders in the same year.
