The Rave, once known as the Eagles Club, is home to six different venues all under the same room. On any given evening, several concerts could be happening even at the same time. The largest and most well-known venue is the Eagles Ballroom. Featuring a 25,000 sq. foot, oval wooden dance floor, domed ceiling, and carved sculptures of eagles, the Eagles Ballroom consistently hosts some of America's top musical acts such as Bob Dylan, Robert Plant, Green Day, Coldplay, and Kings of Leon. The Rave Hall also hosts many of America's top acts. General admission gives you access to the main floor, otherwise you can opt for the upper balcony's reserved seating and exclusive bar.
The Eagles hall is located in the basement of the Rave and is a one room, Miami style venue. Nickelback, Cobra Starship, and 3 Doors Down have all played in this lovely venue. The Rave Bar is another small venue at the Rave and is the only all ages, intimate venue in Wisconsin. Many major acts, such as Nirvana and the Dave Matthews Band, have had started out playing in the Rave Bar. The newest venue is the Rave Vibe Room which is located just off the main lobby. It is a great place for new acts to showcase their talents. It also caters to DJs. Finally, the Rockstar Lounge is the official smoking lounge at the Rave. Located on the VIP floor, it allows patrons to smoke during its shows even when smoke-free performances are being held in other halls. That is thanks to their state of the art ventilation system.
The Rave is an historical landmark thanks to its history as the Eagles Club. In 1926, the Eagles Club was established as an exclusive club with a swimming pool, bowling alley, a boxing ring with seating, and a high end restaurant. Top performers make it a point to perform at the Rave. Gavin Rossdale, of Bush, says the Rave has the best dressing rooms in the country.
