Kohl Center tickets

The Kohl Center in Madison Wisconsin is home to Wisconsin Badgers Basketball, Hockey, and more.  Built in 1998, the Kohl Center quickly became a venue that challenged all visiting teams.  The arena was named after Herbert Kohl, who contributed a major portion of construction funding.

The Kohl Center seats over 17,000 fans when configured for basketball, and 2000 less when the Badger Hockey team takes to the ice.  The venue hosts concerts when not in use for sports, commencement ceremonies for the Badger graduates, conventions, and rallies.

Aerosmith was one of the first concerts to be held at the Kohl Center.  Other notable shows that took place include Shania Twain, Blue Man Group, Phish, Bob Dylan, Kiss, Cher, Bon Jovi, and many more.  The venue holds over 20,000 fans when set up for concerts.  As the arena is situated on the UW Madison campus, the Varsity Band Spring Concert has become an annual event that cannot be held anywhere else.  This three night event attracts over 25,000 fans.

Additions to the Kohl Center include an up to date LED lighting system, restaurants, bars, and academic center.  These updates took shape in the past four years.  Continued improvements keep the venue fresh. The Kohl Center is on the corner of West Dayton and Frances Street in Madison Wisconsin.
