Aaron Kampman Signs with Jaguars

By Packers Tickets fan Phil (03/09/2010 02:17 PM)

Aaron Kampman signed a 26 million dollar contract with the Jacksonvill Jaguars this week.  As his knee seems to have recovered nicely, he tested the free agent market and came out smelling like a rose.  Kampman was a team player when it came to his being moved to outside linebacker, but most fans could tell that he longed to be back at defensive end.  In Jacksonville, he will certainly move back to that position.

Kampman finished his career in Green Bay with a season ending knee injury.  He quickly recovered from the blown out knee, and it looks like he will be healthy enough to take a stab at training camp.  This two-time Pro Bowler, had his best seasons in 2006 and 2007.  He will be 31 years old this season, and Jacksonville hopes to squeeze a couple of good seasons out of him.  Packers fans wish him well.

Packers Free Agent Market Costly for 2010

Green Bay Packers tickets

It is vital that the Green Bay Packers keep their best free agents in a green and gold uniform.  At the time of this writing, we expect to see Tramon Williams, Atari Bigby, Daryn Colledge, and Jason Spitz given RFA offers from the Pack.  That will give the Packers some wiggle room, if the payroll looks like it will get out of control. Will Blackmon received an offer of just over the one million dollar mark.  We will see if he can stay on the roster, as time goes on.

2010 Green Bay Packers roster | Will Mason Crosby Stay?

By Green Bay Packers Tickets Fan Sonja (02/18/2010 10:30 AM)

The Green Bay Packers have an issue with Mason Crosby.  He came out of college and wowed Packers fans with some great kicks.  This past season he had a dismal performance.  There were times when we winced at the sight of Mason coming out to kick.  If the kick was 40+ yards, the fans would worry, and foes would have more than a look of hope on their faces.  Crosby was just not consistant enough.

Packers fans do not want a repeat of 2009.  There were times when Crosby would be sent out onto the field to kick a confidence building field goal. There were other times when the Packers would have to go for it on fourth down, because the last thing they wanted to do would be to have Mason try a 45+ yarder into the wind.  Worries abound when Mason hits the turf.  Is it time for a new kicker?  Possibly.

Packers Tickets Still In High Demand

By Green Bay Packers fan Jessica (02/10/2010 11:08 AM)

Green Bay Packers tickets are still in high demand, as their face value goes up 15% for 2010.  As the price per ticket is going up roughly ten dollars each, the waiting list still tops 80,000.  Upon this announcement, fewer than 200 season ticket holders gave up their tickets for good.

Super Bowl XLIV NFC VS AFC

By Packers tickets Paul (02/03/2010 10:13 AM)

It was great to see our Green Bay Packers in the Pro Bowl.  Aaron Rodgers threw a pair of touchdown passes, but the NFC VS AFC Pro Bowl went to the AFC this year.  It's strange to see the Pro Bowl game before the Super Bowl.  The guys already ease up on the tackles, and now we won't see any Super Bowl bound players on the roster, for fear of injury.  Alas, we have seen the last of our Green Bay Packers for 2009.

What's left is one huge game for the New Orleans Saints.  The Colts have won the big one before, so let's root for our NFC Champions.  Good luck New Orleans.
